Our Mission

PSIG strives to provide the very best when providing, training, compliance support, safety and mechanical integrity guidance and performing audits related to the ammonia refrigeration, NOx Reduction and Cogeneration industries. Training facility personnel and responding agencies in the safe handling of hazardous chemicals including but not limited to anhydrous ammonia, Sulfer Dioxide and Chlorine. This includes site specific, process specific training.

Our educational programs include industrial refrigeration classes using RETA, IIAR, Industry and PSIG publications. Our goal is to supply the knowledge and information needed so participants can go back home operate safely, efficiently and be able to respond to an incident. Whether it is troubleshooting a process failure or responding to a chemical release. It is our goal to provide exemplary services, helping establish safety programs onsite, providing educational opportunities for those who supervise, operate or work on these processes. This includes those who handle hazardous chemicals or respond to emergencies.

The work we do allows us the opportunity to pay it forward. We do not have customers or jobs we have partnerships. The industry we have been working in for so many years has been good to us so it is time to pay it back.

We provide training to facility services for industrial refrigeration companies and manufacturers. We perform mechanical integrity audits and develop CalARP, RMP and PSM programs specific to your system and work with you to manage and implement them. We have worked to train more than 2,500 operators, technicians and other facility staff in the last 10 years.

It is our goal to meet the needs of the industrial refrigeration industry by way of; training, compliance work or anything else we can do to keep everyone coming home at night. We encourage all methods of training, each has its own unique attributes to meet different company needs. We don’t expect you to train with us, we just expect you to train.

With COVID restrictions virtual training, although not our first choice, has been developed to help companies meet their training needs and requirements.
